I am a San Antonio-based, certified professional photographer specializing in live events.
I have been a professional photographer since 2010 and during that time have placed a very strong emphasis on master-level photography education. Combining my technical skill set and creative eye, I strive to create clean images with energy and vibe and that relay a unique visual difference for my clients.

When I am not making photographs, you can find me hiking, cycling, backpacking, camping, enjoying water sports, listening to music (Elvis and Prince), hunting for arrowheads, reading audiobooks, occasionally eating a few glazed donuts (my only weakness to sweets) and then re-starting my keto diet about every 10 days. The most important things in life are for me to see my two daughters happy and to create a family history my grandparents and grandchildren would be proud of.

Since 2010, I have been a professional wedding photographer working under my main company, Ata-Girl Photography Co., LLC.
During that time, I have been awarded numerous international photography awards in some of the most prestigious and competitive image competitions in the world. My goals for competing in these image competitions are to ensure that my photographic work can compete on the same stage as the world’s best photographers, to receive constructive criticism from these same world-renowned master photographers, to continually grow and advance my photographic skill and knowledge, and to always guarantee that I am producing the best possible work I am capable of for my own clients. My ultimate goal is to become a master photographer within multiple professional organizations.
Certified Professional Photographer
In 2018, I became a certified professional photographer through WPPI. This certification demonstrates my technical competence through a written exam and image submission process. It also affirms the knowledge of a specialized skill-set and professional experience. In other words, this certification proves my photography competence.
International Print Competitions
I regularly compete (and merit) in some of the most prestigious international print competitions in the world to ensure that my work is aligned with and on par with current professional photography standards. My goal is to attain enough merits through this competition to become a master photographer.
